This Privacy Policy explains how Spotr ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

2. Information We Collect

Information generated through app use:

• Photographs of vehicles submitted for AI identification
• Car identification results including make, model, rarity scores, and valuations stored locally on your device
• Your digital car collection stored locally on your device
• Usage data including number of scans performed

Device information:

• Device identifier used to associate your data with your device
• Operating system version for technical support purposes

3. Photographs and Car Scans

When you submit a photograph for car identification the image is transmitted securely to our AI processing service. The image is processed to generate your identification results and is not retained on our servers beyond what is necessary to complete the analysis. Your scan history and car collection are stored locally on your device using local storage and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.

We do not use your photographs to train AI models. We do not share your photographs with third parties. We do not have access to view your photographs after processing is complete.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate AI powered car identifications from submitted photographs
• Provide rarity scores, value estimates, and performance specifications
• Maintain your local car collection and scan history
• Improve the accuracy and consistency of our AI identification system
• Provide customer support when requested

5. Data Storage

The majority of your data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers. This includes your car collection, scan history, and usage data. This data remains on your device and is deleted if you uninstall the App.

Car photographs submitted for identification are transmitted securely for processing and are not retained permanently on our servers.

6. Third Party Services

We use the following third party services to operate the App:

• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and process payments. RevenueCat may collect device identifiers and purchase history for subscription management purposes. Please review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com for full details.
• Apple App Store and Google Play Store: Payments are processed through the relevant app store. These platforms collect payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
• Google Gemini: Vehicle photographs are processed by Google's Gemini AI model to generate identification results. Images are transmitted securely and processed in accordance with Google's API data usage policies. Please review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com for full details.
• Supabase: We use Supabase to securely process car identification requests. Images submitted for analysis are transmitted to Supabase servers solely for the purpose of generating your results. Please review Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com for full details.

7. Data Retention

Local data stored on your device is retained until you delete the App or clear the App's data through your device settings. Data transmitted for car identification processing is not retained beyond the time required to generate your results.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you. You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. You have the right to withdraw consent for data processing at any time by deleting the App.

9. Children's Privacy

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or destruction. Data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using industry standard protocols.
